Installation of the printer driver (Windows) (Manual installation using the Add Printer wizard) 4 4.2.3 Network connection (Web Service print) In Windows Vista/Server 2008, Web Service print-supporting printers on the network can be located and installed. TCP/IP setting for this machine Specify the IP address on TCP/IP Setting of this machine. For details on specifying the IP address of this machine, refer to the User's Guide [POD Administrator's Reference]. Web Service setting for the copier Enable Web Service printing in "Web Service Setting" of the copier. For details on specifying the Web Service Setting of this machine, refer to the User's Guide [POD Administrator's Reference]. Install a printer through the network window 0 The installation should be performed by a qualified system administrator or printer administrator. 1 Turn on the power of the machine while it is connected to the network. - To allow printers to be detected during installation, the machine must be connected to the network. 2 To use the Web Service print, check that "Network discovery" is enabled in "Network and Sharing Center" on the computer. 3 Insert the Driver CD into the CD-ROM drive of the computer. 4 Click the [Start] button, and then click "Network". The Network window appears, showing the computers and devices on the network. 5 Select the device name of the copier, and then click "Install" from the toolbar. The selected Web Service print-supporting printer is found, and then the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box appears. 6 Click [Locate and install driver software (recommended)].
