Printer Drivers Checking Printer Driver Version There may be times when you need to know if you are using the most up-to-date printer driver. The procedure shown below for Windows 3.x is similar for all printer drivers. Check the Printer Driver Version for Windows 3.x 1. Highlight the driver in the Printers dialog box. 2.
