Setting up TV stations ENGLISH Memorizing the Channels with Auto - For Auto program to work, the programming source must be connected to the TV and the TV must be receiving programming signals either over-the-air or from a cable-type service provider. STATION Auto program Manual Edit Name Press the MENU button and then use D / E button to select the STATION menu. Press the G button and then use D / E button to select Auto program. Press the G button and then use D / E button to select Antenna, Cable. Press the OK button to begin the channel search. • Wait for auto program to complete the channel search cycle before choosing a channel. The TV scans for over-the-air channels and then channels provided by a cable service. [ Note ] • When the channel search is complete, use the D / E buttons to review the memorized channels. • If you press the MENU button in Auto program, the function will stop and only channels programming up to that time will remain. • Auto program function can memorize only the channels which are being received at that time. • HDTV reception will only display if the digital signal transmitted through the cable or satellite service provider is high definition. Or if the on air broadcast in your area is transmitted in high definition and you have a high definition antenna to receive the signal. The higher the signal strength, the less likely you are to experience picture degradation.
