Using a Port Replicator For other operating systems: Turn off the computer and close the LCD. You can attach the computer to the port replicator only when the computer power is turned off. 3 Align the guide holes on bottom of the computer with the guide hooks on the port replicator and the connectors. 4 Press the top of the computer so that the connectors and guide pins are firmly connected to the port replicator.
