MS-7047 ATX Mainboard H/W Monitor This section shows the status of your CPU, fan, overall system status, etc. Monitor function is available only if there is hardware monitoring mechanism onboard. CPU Shutdown Temperature If the CPU temperature reaches the upper limit preset in this setting, the system will be shut down automatically. This helps you to prevent the CPU overheating problem. This item is available only when your OS supports this function, such as Windows ME/XP. Setting options: [Enabled], [Disabled]. CPU Fan Failure Warning When enabled, the system will automatically monitor the CPU fan during boot-up. If it detects that the CPU fan is not rotating, the system will show an error message on the screen and halt the boot-up process. The function is built with CPU fan power connector (CFAN1) only and enables you to protect the CPU form possible overheating problem. If you don't connect the CPU fan to the CPU fan power connector, we recommend disabling the feature. Settings: [Enabled], [Disabled]. Chassis Intrusion The field enables or disables the feature of recording the chassis intrusion status and issuing a warning message if the chassis is once opened. This item is available only when your mainboard has JASE1 jumper. To clear the warning message, set the field to [Reset]. The setting of the field will automatically return to [Enabled] later. Settings: [Enabled], [Reset], [Disabled]. PC Health Status Press and the following sub-menu appears. 3-20
