Contents Connections Playback 0 Auto Lip Sync This function can automatically correct delay between the audio and video. Use a TV that is compatible with the Auto Lip Sync function. 0 HDMI Pass Through Even when the power to this unit is set to standby, signals input from the HDMI input connector are output to a TV or other device that is connected to the HDMI output connector. 0 HDMI Control If you connect the unit and an HDMI control function compatible TV or player with an HDMI cable and then enable the HDMI control function setting on each device, the devices will be able to control each other. 0 Power off link This unit power off can be linked to the TV power off step. 0 Audio output destination switching From the TV, you can switch whether to output audio from the TV or the AV amplifier. 0 Volume adjustment You can adjust this unit's volume in the TV volume adjustment operation. 0 Input source switching You can switch this unit input sources through linkage to TV input switching. When playing the player, this unit input source switches to the source for that player. Settings Tips Appendix 0 ARC (Audio Return Channel) This function transmits audio signals from the TV to this unit through the HDMI cable and plays back the audio from the TV on this unit based on the HDMI control function. If a TV without the ARC function is connected via HDMI connections, video signals of the playback device connected to this unit are transmitted to the TV, but this unit can not play back the audio from the TV. If you want to enjoy surround audio for TV program, a separate audio cable connection is required. In contrast, if a TV with the ARC function is connected via HDMI connections, no audio cable connection is required. Audio signals from the TV can be input to this unit through the HDMI cable between this unit and the TV. This function allows you to enjoy surround playback on this unit for the TV.
