For details on installing/connecting/setting 7.1 channel audio that uses surround back speakers, see "Simple version (Simple setup guide)" (vpage 3). Use the Audyssey® Auto Setup function of this unit to automatically detect the number of connected speakers and perform optimal settings for the speakers to be used. Procedure for speaker settings When 7.1ch (Front height speaker) installed When 5.1ch installed Install FHL FHR Connect (vpage 31) Set up speakers (vpage 33) Install This unit is compatible with Dolby Pro Logic gz (vpage 70), which offers an even wider and deeper surround sensation. When using Dolby Pro Logic gz, install front height speakers.
