Uninstalling McAfee Security for Microsoft SharePoint You can uninstall PortalShield for Microsoft SharePoint by using the Add/Remove Programs feature of Windows. 1 Click Start | Settings | Control Panel. 2 Double-click Add/Remove Programs. The Add/Remove Program window appears. 3 Click McAfee Security for Microsoft SharePoint from the list, then click Uninstall. TIP: Alternatively, you can double-click McAfee Security for Microsoft SharePoint from the list. 4 Click Yes. A progress bar appears displaying the uninstallation status.
