options Cancel Message Cancel the message. Note: You may not see all these options. send a text message 1 From the main screen, press the Left Soft Key (Message) to open MESSAGING. 2 Select New Message by pressing the M Key (OK). 3 Select TXT Message by pressing the M Key (OK). 4 Use the keypad to enter a phone number, then press the M Key (OK). Press the Right Soft Key (Add), then select From Contacts, Recent Calls, or Groups, and press the M Key. For each entry you want to add, scroll to the entry and press the M Key (MARK). Press the Left Soft Key (Done) when finished selecting entries. 5 With the cursor in the Text entry area, use the keypad to enter a message. When you are entering text, you can press the Right Soft Key (Options) to view and select these options: Save As Draft, Add, Insert Quick Text, Priority Level, Cancel Message, or Insert Emoticons. 6 Send the message by pressing the M Key (SEND). read messages When you view messages, your phone shows you both messages you sent and messages you received. By default, all messages sent to and received from a contact are kept in a single group, which makes it easy for you to follow a conversation you are having with that contact. Your phone displays a notification and plays an alert sound when you receive a new message. To view the message immediately, scroll to View Now and press the 50 messages
