Initial Installation Follow the steps below one by one when using the TV for the first time. Some steps may not be necessary depending on your TV installation and connection. Connecting antenna cable Connect an antenna cable to the antenna terminal. Press POWER on the TV. ᶃ Cable without a CATV converter Cable TV lead-In Home antenna terminal (75-ohm) To TV antenna Coaxial cable terminal (commercially available) ᶄ VHF/UHF antenna 75-ohm coaxial cable (round) Home antenna terminal (75-ohm) To TV antenna Coaxial cable terminal (commercially available) ANT/ CABLE CABLE R AUD L V IDE O I OCPO S ITE OM HDMI 4 USB 2 USB 1 C A AB HDM I 3 HDMI 2 HDMI 1( ARC ) • Connect the antenna cable to the TV using one of the methods in the illustration as shown ( ᶃor ᶄ) Plug the AC cord into the AC outlet. Run the initial installation. • Follow the guide on the TV screen to set the following settings. Language setting TV Location setting Channel search setting Smart TV setting SHARP Legal setting Completed NOTICE F-type connector should be fingertightened only. When connecting the RF cable to the TV set, do not tighten F-type connector with tools. If tools are used, it may cause damage to your TV set (The breaking of internal circuit, etc.) F-type connector 75-ohm coaxial cable • Place the TV close to the AC outlet, and keep the power plug within reach. CAUTION TO PREVENT RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT TOUCH UN-INSULATED PARTS OF ANY CABLES WITH THE AC CORD CONNECTED. 10
