Reference Manual for the Model FVM318 Cable/DSL ProSafe Wireless VPN Security Firewall Viewing Attached Devices The Attached Devices menu contains a table of all IP devices that the firewall has discovered on the local network. From the main menu of the browser interface, under the Maintenance heading, select Attached Devices to view the table, shown in Figure 6-3 Figure 6-3: Attached Devices menu For each device, the table shows the IP address, NetBIOS Host Name, if available, and the Ethernet MAC address. Note that if the firewall is rebooted, the table data is lost until the firewall rediscovers the devices. To force the firewall to look for attached devices, click the Refresh button. e. Enter a descriptive name for this PC in Connection Name. This name is for your convenience only, and is not used in the VPN negotiation.	50

b. Click and rename the New Connection list item to indicate that this is the policy for your local wireless connection, such as Wireless.	55
c. Select Secure on the right side of the Security Policy Editor window in the Connection Security box.	55

e. Type 0.0.0.0 in the Subnet and Mask fields.	55
f. Select All in the Protocol menu to allow all traffic through the VPN tunnel.	55

Managing Your Network

Viewing Attached Devices

The Attached Devices menu contains a table of all IP devices that the firewall has discovered on

the local network. From the main menu of the browser interface, under the Maintenance heading,

select Attached Devices to view the table, shown in

Figure 6-3

For each device, the table shows the IP address, NetBIOS Host Name, if available, and the

Ethernet MAC address. Note that if the firewall is rebooted, the table data is lost until the firewall

rediscovers the devices. To force the firewall to look for attached devices, click the Refresh button.
