Nighthawk M5 5G WiFi 6 Mobile Router Set Up Always-on WiFi The mobile router can use a wired Internet connection with automatic failover support so that you can connect the mobile router to an existing DSL, cable, or fiber-optic modem. If the wired Internet connection goes down, the mobile router can automatically and seamlessly switch over to the backup Internet connection over the mobile broadband network for continuous connectivity. Always-on WiFi will route all traffic over the Ethernet WAN. If the Ethernet connection fails, the device automatically switches to LTE Note: Data Offloading is disabled automatically by the firmware when users enable Always-on Wifi; users don't need to disable offloading manually before enabling Always-on WiFi.
