ISO Sensitivity Rotate the mode dial to A M d button M select A (shooting menu) M ISO sensitivity M k button A higher ISO sensitivity allows darker subjects to be captured. Additionally, even with subjects of similar brightness, pictures can be taken at faster shutter speeds, and blurring caused by camera shake and subject movement can be reduced. • When a higher ISO sensitivity is set, images may contain noise. Option a Auto (default setting) Description Sensitivity is automatically selected from the range of ISO 125 to 1600. I Fixed range auto The range in which the camera automatically adjusts ISO sensitivity can be selected from ISO 125-400 or ISO 125-800. 125, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400 ISO sensitivity is fixed at the specified value. B Notes About ISO Sensitivity This function may not be available to use in combination with other functions (A61).
