Macro Mode (Taking Close-up Pictures) Use macro mode when you take close-up pictures. 1 Press the multi selector I (p). 2 Select o and press the k button. • If the setting is not applied by pressing the k button, the selection will be canceled. Macro mode 3 Move the zoom control to set the zoom ratio to a position where F and the zoom indicator are displayed in green. • When the zoom ratio is set to a position where F and the zoom indicator are displayed in green, the camera can focus on subjects as close as approximately 10 cm (4 in.) from the lens. When the zoom is at a position more wide-angled than where G is displayed, the camera can focus on subjects as close as approximately 1 cm (0.4 in.) from the lens.
