AF-Area Mode Choose how the focus point for autofocus is selected. The following options are available during viewfinder photography: Option Description For stationary subjects. Focus point is selected c Single-point AF manually; camera focuses on subject in selected focus point only. For non-stationary subjects. In AF-A and AF-C focus modes, user selects focus point using multi J Dynamic-area AF (9 points) selector (0 90), but camera will focus based on information from surrounding focus points if subject briefly leaves selected point.
