Macro Mode, The Macro Mode Setting

Basic Photography and Playback: Auto Mode Macro Mode Macro mode is used for taking pictures of objects as close as 10 cm (3.9 in.). Note that the flash may be unable to light entire subject at distances of less than 30 cm (11.8 in.). 1 Press p (macro mode). The macro menu is displayed. 2 Use the multi selector to choose ON and press k. The macro mode icon (F) is displayed. The monitor will return to the normal display for the current mode if the setting is not applied by pressing k within a few seconds. 3 Press g (i) or f (h) to frame the picture. The camera can focus at distances as close as 10 cm (3.9 in.) when the F and the zoom indicator glow green (zoom indicator is positioned in the left side of G).
