Shooting Suited for the Scene Shooting Suited for the Scene Shooting in Scene Mode Camera settings are automatically optimized for the selected subject type. The following scene modes are available. x Scene auto selector e Night portrait i Dusk/dawn l Museum p Panorama assist b Portrait f Party/indoor j Night landscape m Fireworks show c Landscape g Beach/snow k Close-up n Copy d Sports h Sunset u Food o Backlight Choosing a Scene Mode 1 Display the shooting-mode selection menu by pressing the A button in shooting mode, and use the rotary multi selector to choose a scene icon. • The icon for the scene mode that was chosen previously will be displayed. The default setting is x (Scene auto selector). 2 Press K, choose a scene and press the k button. • The screen changes to the shooting mode screen. • "Features" ➝ A 38 Scene auto selector Beach/snow 3 Frame the subject and take the picture. 1/250 F2.7 C Image Mode You can change the Image mode setting (A 96) by pressing the d button to display the C (scene) menu. Changes made to the image mode setting apply to all shooting modes (except for the movie mode). 37
