MEMO • If the camera has not been operated for more than specified time while it is in any operation mode such as "P" and "A", a power save function will be activated and put it into the Stand-by mode.Indication on the control panel will disappear. The interval of inactivity is changeable. (P. 76) • To cancel the Stand-by mode, turn the zoom lever or press the shutter release button halfway, and the control panel display will reappear. • When the camera is in the Stand-by mode for an interval, it automatically turns the power off. Press the power button to turn it back on. • Set the date and time before taking pictures. Refer to "Setting Date/Time". (P. 74) • When taking pictures on a trip, on a special occasion, or in cold temperatures, it is recommended to keep precharged spare batteries handy.Please use the AA Ni-MH batteries and battery charger bundled with the C-2500L. • When operating with exhausted batteries, frame number blinks on the control panel after a picture is taken or power is turned on. In this case, the picture was not taken normally. Load new batteries, and operate the C-2500L again. If the camera is ready for taking pictures and power is turned ON, the
number of storable pictures is displayed on the control panel.
