Note • You cannot create an index if there is insufficient memory space on the card. • The card access lamp blinks while the camera is reading the movie from the card. Reading of movies may take considerable time. Do 7 not open the battery compartment/ card cover while the card access lamp is blinking, as this may cause not only the data on the card to be damaged, but may render the card unusable. Playback • When playing back movies shot in MPEG4 format, the following restrictions apply. • The playback functions are slow to start. • The movie does not play back smoothly in reverse. • Movie frames are captured in 0.5-second intervals. 132
