AC adapter (sold separately) In addition to the lithium ion battery provided with the camera, you can also use the specified AC adapter (sold separately). An AC adapter is useful for time-consuming tasks such as picture downloads. Use only the specified AC adapter (sold separately), and connect in the sequence as shown below. Plug into an AC outlet DC-IN jack Connecting cord plug Power plug AC adapter Connector cover 6 To disconnect the AC adapter, disconnect in the reverse sequence of above. Before connecting or disconnecting the AC adapter, be sure to turn off the camera. Otherwise, the camera's internal settings or functions could be affected. If you connect the AC adapter with the battery still in the camera, the camera will be powered from the AC adapter. The AC adapter does not charge the battery in the camera at this time. The AC adapter can be used within the range of AC100V to AC240V (50/ 60Hz). When using the AC adapter abroad, you may need a plug adapter to convert the plug to the shape of the electrical outlet. For details, ask at your local electrical shop or travel agent. Do not use voltage converters sold in stores traveling overseas as this could damage your AC adapter. Appendix 167

AC adapter (sold separately)

also use the specified AC adapter (sold separately). An AC adapter is
useful for time-consuming tasks such as picture downloads.
Use only the specified AC adapter (sold separately), and connect in the
sequence as shown below.
To disconnect the AC adapter, disconnect in the reverse sequence of above.
