Adjusting picture coloration The color of the subject differs depending on lighting conditions. For instance, when daylight, the setting sun, or tungsten lighting are reflected on white paper, the shade of white produced will be slightly different for each. By setting the white balance, you can achieve more natural-looking colors. AUTO 5 3 1 > The white balance is adjusted automatically so that colors look natural irrespective of the light source. For natural colors under a clear sky. For natural colors under a cloudy sky. For natural colors under tungsten lighting. WB AUTO 5 3 1 SELECT GO OK TIPS • You can select a white balance setting other than the actual light source, and enjoy the different color tones on the monitor.
