Functions that cannot be selected from menus • Some items may not be selectable from the menus when using the arrow pad (1243). • Items that cannot be set with the current shooting mode • Items that cannot be set because of an item that has already been set: [%], [FLASH MODE], etc. • Items that cannot be set because the pictures taken by other camera will be edited. • Some functions cannot be used when there is no card in the camera. [PANORAMA], [FORMAT], [BACKUP], [PRINT ORDER], [Q], [REDEYE FIX], [BLACK & WHITE], [SEPIA],[FRAME], [TITLE], [CALENDAR], [BRIGHTNESS], [SATURATION], [ALBUM ENTRY], ALBUM Selecting the optimal record mode A record mode expresses a combination of desired image size and compression level. Use the following examples to help determine the optimal record mode when shooting. To print large images on full-size paper/To edit and process images on a computer 5 • [SHQ] or [HQ] To print postcard-size images • [SQ1] To send as an e-mail attachment or post on a web site • [SQ2] g "IMAGE QUALITY Changing the image quality" (P. 17) To return the settings of functions to default settings • If the settings such as [IMAGE QUALITY] or flash settings (excluding h and s) are changed according to the shooting, the changed settings can be maintained even after the power is turned off.
