Listening to Messages You can see the total number of recorded messages on the base unit display. If ANSWER ON indicator flashes, new messages have been recorded. To listen to messages with the handset, see page 52. To play back messages Press (MESSAGE!PLAYBACK). •The unit announces the number of new messages, and plays back the new messages. •If old messages exist with new messages, only new messages will be played back. •When you have no new messages, the unit announces "No new messages. All message playback", and plays back all messages. During playback, Ex. 12 messages exist; the display shows the message number.
