The unit adds index marks when recording starts. To add them manually during recording, press [SHIFT]i[¥ REC]. While stopped or during play Press [:] (backward) or [9] (forward) to skip to the part you want to play. [:] twice once once [9] twice Program Program Program Index mark The channel, date, and time of a recording appear on the television when play restarts. ≥Up to 20 index signals can be searched for in both directions. ≥You can reduce the number of skips by pressing the opposite button. ≥This feature may not work correctly if the marks are too close together. Make recordings of at least 15 minutes (25 minutes in VP mode). To return to the Jet Navigator list Press [MENU]. [Note] ≥If you have already stored 14 programs on a tape and you then store another one, the new item is added and the oldest is deleted. ≥"REMAINING PROGRAM 0 DELETE JET NAVIGATOR DATA" appears when you try to store more than fifty programs.
