Slow-Speed-Sync Shooting (Flash-On) Set the mode dial to ( ). The ) and (C>) are appeared on the LCD panel. It is possible to photograph subjects and background in a balanced way by using the built-in flash to properly expose the foreground subject and a slow -speed to expose the low light background. • In this mode, the red-eye reduction function always operates. • Make sure that you are within the flash- effective range even when you use the built-in flash as a fill-in flash in daylight. See page 35. • When shooting in low light, the shutter speed gets slower. Use of a tripod is recommended. 43
