DAYLIGHT-SYNC SHOOTING Set the mode dial to ( f ). ( % ) appears on the LCD panel. • See page 35 for the flash-effective • range. • When a portrait is taken with the subject in a backlight situation, the front of the subject may be cast in shadow. In such a case, use this mode (FlashON mode). This will ensure that a picture is well exposed without any shadow. In this mode, the flash will always discharge.
