Pe 40 I I / I 3 The shutter will be released in about 10 seconds. When the selftimer is working, the Self Timer symbol (0) blinks on the LCD panel, and the Self-Timer lamp blinks 3 seconds before the shutter is released. How to cancel To cancel the self-timer at any time after its been activated, depress anyone of the buttons next to the LCD panel. Notes on the self-timer shooting • Use of a tripod is recommended. • Do not stand in front of the camera when depressing the shutter release button; this will cause incorrect focus. • The self-timer does not function while the flash is being charged. 47
