FABRiC FEED The Fabric Feed or teed dog moves fabric forward or backward under the presser foot. It can be raised or lowered by depressing the fabric feed plate located at the right of the shuttle. For ordinary straight or Zigzag stitch ing, depress plate ( ) down. This raises fabric feed to its highest position. For darning, embroidering and sewing on buttons, depress plate ( )down to lower the fabric feed so fabric can be thoved freely b' hand. TO START SEWING Your machine has a main switch on the right side of the machine. Before operation, first turn the main switch on by pushing it. And after operation, turn the main switch off by pushing it again. SEWING LIGHT The sewing light is located directly over the needle so as to better illumi nate the stitching area. When the main switch is on, the light is automatically turned on. -15-
