Place
a
spool
of
thread
on
each

two
spool

both

through

retainer

the
rear

center
tension

the
other
between
the
center
and
front
tension
discs

upper

threads

and
thread
each
needle

front
to

thread
is

hold
both
needle
threads
in
your
left
hopd.
Thread
Tension
Slightly
increase
the
bobbin
thread
tension,
and
increase
or
decrease
the
needle
thread
tension
depending
on
the
type
of
fabric
used.
If
the
tension
has
been
set
correctly,
the
bobbin
thread
should
appear
as
a
faint
zigzag
line
on
the
other
side.
Filled
Cording
If
you
wont
to
make
cording
in
filmy
fabrics
or
render
your
carding
more
prominent,
Pfaff
recommends
that
you
insert
a
filler
cord.
Its
thickness
depends
on
the
cording
size
you
want.
Remove
the
bed
slide
and
pass
the
filler
cord
from
below
through
hole
g
located
in
front
of
the
oval
needle
hole
f
(see
ill,
an
page
40).
Lay
the
end
of
the
filler
cord
bock
under
the
cording
foot
(together
with
the
needle
and
bobbin
thread
ends).
Pull
a
filler
cord
forward
under
the
bed
slide
and
place
the
ball
in
your
lap.
