How
to
oil
the
machine
The
oil
holes
are
marked
with
arrows
in
the
illustrations
below.
Before
oiling,
they
should
be
wiped
clean.
Apply
one
or
two
drops
of
a
non-resinous
sewing
machine
oil.
If
the
machine
is
in
constant
use,
this
should
be
done
every
two
or
three
days.
If
the
machine
should
not
run
well
after
being
out
of
use
for
a
long
period,
apply
a
few
drops
Of
paraffin
(kerosine)
to
the
oil
holes
and
run
the
machine
fast
with
all
covers
on
for
about
one
minute.
Before
using
the
machine
again
oil
it
in
the
usual
way.
After
oiling
do
not
forget
to
sew
first
on
waste
fabric
in
order
to
soak
up
any
excess
oil.
