Sewing on buttons With orogram E you can sew on two and fourhole buttons with no problem at all - Remove the sewing foot and lower the feed dog. - Turn the hand wheel towards you and posi tion the button so that the needle enters the left hole in the button. - Now lower the presser bar lifter; the button is now held by the shank of the foot. - Now sew on the button. Make sure that the needle also enters the right hole in the button. Then release with key B and the needle automatically goes into the left hand posi tion - Now sew with a few stitches. Make sure that the needle enters in the left hole of the jiittnii Remove the match and pull the button and fabric apart. - Wrap the stem with sewing thread and knot ii. 39
