5. Hold the Console (23) near the Upright (2). Insert the console cable down through the Upright. Next, connect the console wire to the Upper Wire (44). Insert the excess wire into the Upright. Attach the Console (23) to the Upright (2) with three M10 x 27mm Button Screws (45) and three M10 Split Washers (59). Be careful to avoid pinching the wires and cables. Snap the bookrack onto the Console (23) in the location shown. 5 23 Console Wire 44 45 59 Bookrack Console Cable 45 59 2 6. Whilst another person holds the Upright (2) near the Frame (1) as shown, connect the Upper Wire (44) to the Reed Switch Wire (53). Next, connect the console cable to the Resistance Cable (65) in the following way: • Refer to drawing A. Pull up on the metal bracket on the Resistance Cable (65), and insert the tip of the console cable (CC) into the wire clip in the metal bracket as shown. • Refer to drawing B. Firmly pull the console cable (CC) and slide it into the metal bracket on the Resistance Cable (65) as shown. • Refer to drawing C. Using pliers, squeeze the prongs on the upper end of the metal bracket together. Slide the Upright (2) onto the Frame (1); be careful not to pinch the Wires (44, 53) or the Resistance Cable (65). Attach the Upright with two M10 x 74mm Button Bolts (27), two M10 Split Washers (59), and two M10 Nylon Locknuts (33). Whilst another person holds the Upright (2) near the
Frame (1) as shown, connect the Upper Wire (44) to
the Reed Switch Wire (53). Next, connect the con-
sole cable to the Resistance Cable (65) in the follow-
ing way:
• Refer to drawing A. Pull up on the metal bracket on
the Resistance Cable (65), and insert the tip of the
console cable (CC) into the wire clip in the metal
bracket as shown.
• Refer to drawing B.
Firmly
pull the console cable
(CC) and slide it into the metal bracket on the
Resistance Cable (65) as shown.
• Refer to drawing C. Using pliers, squeeze the
prongs on the upper end of the metal bracket
together.
Slide the Upright (2) onto the Frame (1);
be careful
not to pinch the Wires (44, 53) or the Resistance
Cable (65).
Attach the Upright with two M10 x 74mm
Button Bolts (27), two M10 Split Washers (59), and
two M10 Nylon Locknuts (33).
Do not tighten the
Button Bolts yet.

the excess wire into the Upright.
Attach the Console (23) to the Upright (2) with three
M10 x 27mm Button Screws (45) and three M10 Split
Washers (59).
Be careful to avoid pinching the
wires and cables.
Snap the bookrack onto the Console (23) in the loca-
tion shown.
