COMPUTER FUNCTIONS SPEED - Displays your current speed in miles or kilometers per hour. TIMER - Allows you to enter the length of time that you plan to exercise, up to 99 minutes, and counts the time down to zero. TRIP TIME - Displays the total elapsed time of your workout, up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. DISTANCE - Displays the distance that you have pedaled in miles or kilometers, up to 999 miles. DISTANCE SET - Allows you to enter the distance that you plan to pedal, up to 999 miles, and counts the distance down to zero. RPM - Displays your current pedal RPM, from 20 to 240 revolutions per minute. PULSE - Displays your current pulse, from 40 to 250 beats per minute. TARGET PULSE - Allows you to enter a target pulse, from 50 to 250 beats per minute, displays your actual pulse relative to the target pulse, and emits a warning tone if you reach or exceed the target pulse. AUTO PULSE - Allows you to enter a target pulse, from 50 to 250 beats per minute, and adjusts the pedal resistance automatically as you exercise to keep your pulse at or near the target level. TEMPO - Helps you to maintain a steady pedal RPM by emitting an intermittant tone at a preselected time interval, up to 250 times per minute. PROGRAMS 1-4 - Allow you to enter the length of time that you plan to exercise, and guide you through your entire workout, automatically adjusting pedal resistance to vary the intensity level. Four different workouts are offered: Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. PROGRAMS 5-6 - Allow you to create your own custom workout programs. TOTAL CALORIES - Displays the total number of nutritional Calories (kilocalories) you have expended, up to 9,999. CALORIES/MINUTE - Displays the number of nutritional Calories (kilocalories) you are expending 12 per minute, up to 2000 per minute.
