Comparing DPF and MVS Download This table outlines some of the key differences among the two main host printing options that InfoPrint Manager for Windows provides. Use this information to determine which option best meets the needs of your print installation. Table 1. Comparing DPF and MVS Download DPF MVS Download InfoPrint Manager for Windows acts as a full print spool system for Intelligent Printer Data Stream™ (IPDS) input, or converting from IPDS to the PCL or PPDS data stream. InfoPrint Manager for Windows acts as a full print spool system. MVS provides the mechanism for transferring jobs from the JES spool to the InfoPrint Manager spool.
