Using the CAMCORDER - Advanced Recording ENGLISH G EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer) ✤ The EIS function works in CAMCORDER mode only. ✤ EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for any shaking or hand movement while holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits). ✤ It provides more stable pictures when: I Recording with the zoom I Recording a small object close-up I Recording and walking at the same time I Recording through the window of a vehicle 1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the power switch to REC mode. CAMCORDER REC MODE INITIAL CAMCORDER CAMERA MEMORY VIEWER RECORD SET PLAY SET 2. Press the MENU button. I The menu list will appear. 3. Turn the MENU DIAL highlight to CAMCORDER and press the MENU DIAL. I The sub-menu list will appear. 4. Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and press the MENU DIAL. CAMCORDER REC MODE CAMCORDER SET RECORD SET PLAY SET 5. Turn the MENU DIAL to activate the EIS function, then press the MENU DIAL. I The EIS menu is changed to ON. I If you do not want to use the EIS function, set the EIS menu to OFF. 6. To exit, press the MENU button. Using the CAMCORDER - Advanced Recording
EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer)
The EIS function works in CAMCORDER mode only.
EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for any shaking or hand movement while holding the
camcorder (within reasonable limits).
It provides more stable pictures when:
Recording with the zoom
Recording a small object close-up
Recording and walking at the same time
Recording through the window of a vehicle

Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the power switch to REC mode.
2.
Press the MENU button.
The menu list will appear.
3.
Turn the MENU DIAL highlight to CAMCORDER and press the MENU DIAL.
The sub-menu list will appear.
4.
Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and press the MENU DIAL.
5.
Turn the MENU DIAL to activate the EIS function, then press the MENU DIAL.
The EIS menu is changed to ON.
If you do not want to use the EIS function, set the EIS menu to OFF.
6.
To exit, press the MENU button.
Note
It is recommended that you deactivate the shake compensation function when using a tripod.
