Press the Play (left) soft key ( ) to play each tone or melody as you scroll through the list. 5. When the desired ringer type plays, press the key to save your selection. Alerts You can set your phone to sound an alert whenever you enter or leave your service area, connect or disconnect a call, and other options. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), def (for Sound Settings), and def for Alerts. The following options appear in the display: ⅷ Minute Beep - Sound an alert ten seconds before each elapsed minute of a call. ⅷ Roaming - Sound an alert when you leave your home service area while on a call. ⅷ Call Connect - Sound an alert when you connect/ disconnect a call. ⅷ Power On/Off - Play power on and power off melodies. 2. Use the navigation keys to highlight a sub-menu, then press the key. The following options appear in the display: ⅷ On ⅷ Off 3.
