This stitch can be used to reinforce seams of stretch fabrics. The stitch is stronger than a regular straight stitch becuase it sews the same stitch three times - forward, backward and forward again. Because the stitch stretches, it's a good choice for seams on medium to heavy weight stretch fabrics. The stitch will stretch with the fabric when the fabric is stretched.
