Playing a CD (normalplay) You can operate the CD cassette-corder from the deck or with the supplied remote commander. Also, you can play 12 cm (5 inch) and 8 cm (3 inch) CDs without an adaptor. POWER C=-00 PLAY/PAUSE PUSH OPEN O 60000 II 5 Press DU PLAY/PAUSE. The CD player will play all the tracks once. The track number and playing time appear in the display window. 01 00:3401 Between tracks, the remaining time before the next track is displayed. 02-00:03s CD VOLUME 1 Turn on the power and press CD. If there is no disc in the compartment "no disc" appears in the display window. no d 15Em, 2 Press PUSH OPEN to open the disc compartment. 00 1 3 Holding the CD by the edge, place the CD in the disc compartment with the label side up. 6 Adjust the volume and sound emphasis (See Adjusting the SoundEmphasis on page 8). (Be careful not to turn up the volume excessively while listening to a portion with very low audio input. If you do, the speakers may be damaged when a peak level plays.) VOL 2.
