Recording - Basics Recording a picture When you use the LCD screen outdoors in direct sunlight The LCD screen may be difficult to see. If this happens, we recommend that you use the viewfinder. Picture in the mirror mode The picture on the LCD screen is a mirror-image. However, the picture will be normal when recorded. During recording in the mirror mode ZERO SET MEMORY on the Remote Commander does not work. Indicators in the mirror mode The STBY indicator appears as Xz and REC as z. Some of the other indicators appear mirror-reversed and others are not displayed. Adjusting the brightness of the LCD screen Adjust the brightness of the LCD screen with LCD BRIGHT in (p. 98). in the menu settings LCD / VF SET LCD BR I GHT [ MENU ] : END MENU LCD screen backlight You can change the brightness of the backlight. When you use the LCD screen outdoors in direct sunlight
The LCD screen may be difficult to see. If this happens, we recommend that you use the
viewfinder.
Picture in the mirror mode
The picture on the LCD screen is a mirror-image. However, the picture will be normal
when recorded.
During recording in the mirror mode
ZERO SET MEMORY on the Remote Commander does not work.
Indicators in the mirror mode
