Table of contents Operation Search HDMI Resolution When you connect the camera to an HD (High Definition) TV with HDMI terminals using an HDMI cable (sold separately), you can select HDMI Resolution to output images to the TV. 1 MENU t (Settings) t (Main Settings) t [HDMI Resolution] t desired mode t z on the control button Auto 1080i 480p/576p Sets the output resolution automatically according to the information of the connected device. Outputs with HD (High Definition) image quality (1080i). Outputs with SD (Standard Definition) image quality (480p/576p). • When [Video Out] is [NTSC], the resolution is output as 480p and when [PAL], the resolution is output as 576p. Notes • If the screen does not appear correctly, select [1080i] or [480p/576p] according to the connected TV. • Set [Video Out] to select the HDMI Resolution according to the connected TV's color system. • When you shoot movies in the condition where the camera and a TV are connected using an HDMI Cable (sold separately), the image being shot is not displayed at the TV side.
