Capturing a scene for a jacket picture You can capture your favorite scene in a disc to create a personal jacket picture. A personalized jacket picture will make spotting the disc in the Disc Explorer easier. This function is available only if the disc does not contain a pre-recorded jacket picture. TV/DISC EXPLORER/ DVD switch CLEAR PICTURE MEMORY H C/c TOP MENU/ EDIT 1 Select a disc and play it (page 34, 35). 2 Slide the TV/DISC EXPLORER/DVD switch to DISC EXPLORER. 3 Press PICTURE MEMORY at your favorite scene. The scene is captured as a still image, and is set as the jacket picture for the Disc Explorer. 2 After sliding the TV/DISC EXPLORER/ DVD switch to DISC EXPLORER, press TOP MENU/EDIT. EDIT appears in the bottom right corner. 3 Press C/c to highlight the disc number. Highlight the disc number. ALL DVD CD A B 1 Super Car Chase 2 3 Skiing the World 4 Music Madness 5 C D Action DVD Classical CD Action DVD CD VIDEO CD 4 Press CLEAR. The stored jacket picture is deleted. To cancel the edit mode Press ORETURN until EDIT disappears from the Disc Explorer. If you press ORETURN again, the Disc Explorer turns off. To erase a stored jacket picture 1 Perform steps 1 and 2 in "Searching for a disc on the Disc Explorer" and select the disc you want to edit (page 51). 52

Capturing a scene for a jacket
picture
You can capture your favorite scene in a disc
to create a personal jacket picture. A
personalized jacket picture will make
spotting the disc in the Disc Explorer easier.
This function is available only if the disc does
not contain a pre-recorded jacket picture.

Select a disc and play it (page 34, 35).

Slide the TV/DISC EXPLORER/DVD
switch to DISC EXPLORER.

Press PICTURE MEMORY at your
favorite scene.
The scene is captured as a still image, and
is set as the jacket picture for the Disc
Explorer.
To erase a stored jacket picture

Perform steps 1 and 2 in “Searching for a
disc on the Disc Explorer” and select the
disc you want to edit (page 51).

After sliding the TV/DISC EXPLORER/
DVD switch to DISC EXPLORER, press
TOP MENU/EDIT.
appears in the bottom right corner.

Press
C

to highlight the disc number.

Press CLEAR.
The stored jacket picture is deleted.
To cancel the edit mode
Press
O
RETURN until
disappears
from the Disc Explorer.
If you press
O
RETURN again, the Disc
Explorer turns off.
