They should not contain special letters such as l etc. Depending on the disc, filename characters that cannot be displayed are shown as *. Music discs encoded with copyright protection technologies. This product is designed to playback discs that conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard. Recently, various music discs encoded with copyright protection technologies are marketed by some record companies. Please be aware that among those discs, there are some that do not conform to the CD standard and may not be playable by this product. The total number of files on a readable disc should be approximately 648. Discs recorded in multiple sessions may not play properly on this device. The total number of folders on a readable disc should be approximately 299. Notes: When playing Mp3 recorded in VBR Mode, the correct bit rate cannot be displayed. Otherwise, when playing MP3 files recorded in VBR Mode, the Time Search function will not work properly. Depending on the copying conditions of the disc, the total number of readable files and folders may be less than 648. This player is not compatible with layered 1 and 2 of MPEG 1. Please realize that playing files in these formats may result in noise. 34
