DVD Video Parts The region code corresponding to the country of sale is displayed in the box. If the region code from the registered trademark includes "All" or "2", then it is playable on this machine. MP3 and JPEG files recorded on the second layer of a DVD+R DL/-R DL (double layered) cannot be played. DVD-R DL discs recorded in VR mode cannot be played. CD-R/RW (DVD±R/±RW) written in packet format cannot be played. CD-R/RW written in multiple sessions may not be played. CD-R/RW file names written in the UDF file system may not be displayed properly. Note on DualDiscs A DualDisc is a two sided disc product which mates DVD recorded material on one side with digital audio material on the other side. However, since the audio material side does not conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard, playback on this product is not guaranteed. 9
