Playing a DivX video DivX® is a video file compression technology developed by DivXNetworks, Inc. This device is an official DivX® Certified product. You can play DivX video files on DATA CD (CD-ROM/ CD-R/CD-RW) and DATA DVD (DVD+RW/DVD+R/ DVD-RW/DVD-R). DivX video file Disc Features Display DivX If you press [ DISPLAY ] during DivX video playback, the following will appear on the LCD screen in this order: Title Elapsed, Title Remain, Display Off, Subtitle. Insert a DivX video file disc, the file menu appears on the screen. Press [ PREV / NEXT ] to go to the previous or next page of the list. Press [ / ] to select a folder. And press [ ENTER ] to see the folder contents. If you want to play a particular file, press [ / ] to select a file, and press [ ENTER ] to play or enter. Playback starts. Press [ PREV / NEXT ] to go to the previous or next file. Press [ SCAN / SLOW ] repeatedly to select the required speed for the search mode during playback. Press [ SCAN / SLOW ] repeatedly in pause mode to select the required slow motion speed . To return to the previous file list while playing a DivX video file, press [ STOP ]. Audio DivX Press [ AUDIO ] repeatedly during playback to change to a different audio stream. The operation works only with discs on which multiple audio soundtracks are recorded. Subtitle DivX Press [ DISPLAY ] to display subtitle information on the top right corner of the screen. Press [ / ] to move the highlight and then press [ ENTER ]. When files without subtitles are played, "Off" displays on the top right corner of the screen after pressing [ DISPLAY ]. Note: The slow reverse function is prohibited. 40
