Getting Started Item 1 Speaker 2 TIMER LED 3 LAMP LED 4 POWER LED 5 (IR) Infrared Receiver 6 POWER 7 CHANNEL +/- 8 VOLUME +/- 9 INPUT 0 HOME Description Outputs the audio signal. Lights up in orange when the timer is set. When the timer is set, this LED will remain lit even if the TV is turned off. For details, see page 28. The projection lamp has burned out. Replace it with new one (see page 39). Lights up in green when the TV is turned on. Also lights up in red during the diagnostics. Receives IR signals from the remote control. Do not put anything near the sensor, as its function may be affected. Press to turn on and off the TV. Press to scan through channels. To scan quickly through channels, press and hold down either +/-. Press to adjust the volume. Press to display the list of External Inputs and TV mode. Press repeatedly to toggle through the inputs. ~ • See page 37 on setting up the External Inputs labels, including the Skip feature. Press to display the TV Home Menu/XMBTM (XrossMediaBar) to access the TV Home Menu items such as the TV Settings, TV channels and External Inputs list (see pages 7 and 26). Product Support Clock/Timers Sound Screen Video Options TV ~ • While XMB™ is displayed, the 7, 8 and 9 become navigational buttons. Use them to navigate on the XMB™. When HOME is pressed again, these buttons will activate the CHANNEL +/-, VOLUME +/- and INPUT operation. 21
