The call may be disconnected. • If you hear an short error beep when you press (CHANNEL), move closer to the base phone. Tips • You can talk on the base phone by pressing (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) on the base phone after you have dialed on the handset (speakerphone). • The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button on the handset double flashes in succession, when the base phone or another phone is used. • If you pick up another phone connected to the same phone line, the hold will be automatically released and you will be able to resume conversation on that phone. If the handset battery becomes weak during a call You will hear a beep and the INTERCOM/BATT LOW lamp on the handset flashes. The call will be disconnected soon. Replace the handset on the base phone to charge. Making calls through the speakerphone Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) on the base phone. (REDIAL/PAUSE) The corresponding line button lights up. Dial the phone number. (HOLD) To adjust the speaker volume, press (VOLUME)(+) or (--). To mute your voice, press (MUTING) to disable the microphone. The MUTING lamp lights up. Press (MUTING) again to cancel. (MUTING) (VOLUME) When you are done talking, press (OFF).
