Exchanging Date Book and Address Book data between your CLIÉ handheld and your computer The HotSync® operation (page 43) enables you to exchange Date Book or Address Book data between your CLIÉ handheld and your computer. Depending on the applications that you use in your computer, there are two ways to exchange data. Exchanging data between your CLIÉ handheld and Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software in your computer You can synchronize Date Book and Address Book managed by the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software in your computer to the CLIÉ handheld. b For details on connecting with the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software, refer to "Exchanging and updating data using the HotSync® operation" (page 43). Exchanging data between your CLIÉ handheld and Microsoft® Outlook (Intellisync® Lite) in your computer Intellisync Lite must be installed in your computer to connect with Microsoft® Outlook and Lotus Organizer. b For details on how to install, refer to "Installing the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software on your computer" (page 38). Tip Intellisync Lite can be installed from "Using your CLIÉ handheld" of the installer menu screen. b For details on how to start and set up, refer to the Help of Intellisync Lite.
