Preparation VVPrecautions when making connections oo Do not plug the unit in until all connections have been completed. oo Carefully read the manuals of the devices that you are connecting A and follow their instructions when making connections. AM antenna B C A FM antenna After finding a position where FM broadcasts can be received and the reception is good, attach it to the wall or ceiling using tacks or tape, for example. oo See page 27 for instructions about how to receive radio signals. oo Do not bundle the antenna with other wires because doing so will reduce its sensitivity. B DC input connector (DC IN 9V) After completing all the connections, connect the included AC adapter (PS-M0926) to this jack. Next, plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet when you are not planning to use the unit for an extended period of time. Do not use any AC adapter other than the one included (PS-M0926). Included PS-M0926 AC adapter C AM antenna connector Assemble the included AM loop antenna and connect it to the AM antenna connector on the back of the unit. Place the antenna in the position that provides the best AM reception. Assembling the AM antenna To assemble the AM antenna, turn the base in the direction of the arrow.
