The red, green, and blue images are projected onto the screen where they converge to form a full-color picture. You can see a clear picture only when the three images converge correctly. Convergence may drift over time or if the TV is moved. If you can see clear images on the screen, skip this procedure. Make this adjustment after the TV has been on for at least 30 minutes. To check and adjust the color convergence: 1. Press MENU, then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight CONVERGENCE (see illustration below left). 3. Press ENTER to highlight RED or BLUE, depending on which color needs adjusting. If both red and blue need adjusting, perform steps 4 and 5 twice. 5. Press y (up), z (down), x (left), or • (right) on the remote control to converge the red or blue line into the green line, which will turn completely white when correctly adjusted. When color convergence is correctly adjusted, you will see two single white lines. 6. Press EXIT to close the center CONVERGENCE menu and open the circumference CONVERGENCE menu (see illustration below left). 7. Press the corresponding Number button (1-4 and 6-9) to select the area to adjust. 8. Press ENTER to highlight RED or BLUE (see illustration below right), depending on which color needs adjusting. Adjusting the color convergence
This projection TV uses three separate TV tubes: red, green, and blue.
The red, green, and blue images are projected onto the screen where
they converge to form a full-color picture. You can see a clear picture
only when the three images converge correctly. Convergence may drift
over time or if the TV is moved. If you can see clear images on the
screen, skip this procedure.
Make this adjustment after the TV has been on for at least 30
minutes.
To check and adjust the color convergence:
