Chapter 8: Using the TV's features Using the POP features (continued) Using the favorite channel search feature You can use the favorite channel search feature to quickly scan the channels you programmed as favorite channels in a seven-picture POP multi-window. Note: The favorite channel search feature will not work unless you program channels into the favorite channel memory (see "Programming your favorite channels" on page 44). To scan and tune your favorite channels: 1. Press FAV. The TV automatically enters POP multi-window mode, and begins a seven-picture scan of your favorite channels. The favorite channels in Set 1 appear first. To view the favorite channels in Set 2, press SWAP. 3 4 5 6 7 CABLE 6 8 9 6 2. Press yzx • to select one of the seven pictures, which becomes a moving picture. (The main picture is always moving.) 3. Press ENTER to display the channel you selected in step 2 as the main picture. Fixed (non-moving) images (such as still PIP/POP windows or black/gray bars in wide-screen picture or PIP/POP formats) can become permanently engrained in the picture tube. Using the favorite channel search feature
You can use the favorite channel search feature to quickly scan the channels you
programmed as favorite channels in a seven-picture POP multi-window.
Note:
The favorite channel search feature will not work unless you program channels into
the favorite channel memory (see “Programming your favorite channels” on page 44).
To scan and tune your favorite channels:
1.
Press FAV. The TV automatically enters POP multi-window mode, and begins a
seven-picture scan of your favorite channels.
The favorite channels in Set 1 appear first. To view the favorite channels in Set 2,
press SWAP.
